Importante lama in damasco filettata al forte e munita di doppi sgusci al dorso, punzoni calligrafici a forma di spicchio di luna dorati all'interno, impugnatura in acciaio ageminato con rimessi in oro di eccellente fattura, fodero in legno ricoperto di pelle a guarniture in acciaio decorato a racemi dorati con firma al rovescio sulla bocchetta e nel puntale del fodero corona da Conte con aquile, lune e girali, tele di Salomone e spicchi di luna, sulla parte frontale raffinata decorazione a girali e volute, completa di cintura con chiusure e borchie anch'esse ageminate. Rara, alta qualità, lievi difetti.

Important Damascus steel blade filleted at forte and with double fuller on back edge, calligraphic stamps in the form of a gilt crescent moon on the inside, superbly made damascened steel grip with gold inlay, leather-bound wood sheath with steel garnitures decorated with gilt racemes and signature on reverse at  the mouth and on the sheath’s chape embellished with a count’s coronet with eagles, moons and swirl motifs, images of Solomon and moon crescents; the front area presents elegant decorative swirl motifs and scrollwork, complete with belt with closure and bosses that are also damascened. Rare, high quality with only minor defects.
