Auction day is one of the most unpredictable and uncertain times, both for those in the business and for those who want to sell or buy at auction. There are many variables at play: sometimes a lot that seems unimportant may attract many bids and achieve a very high price; while, at other times, an item that was thought to be very valuable may even go unnoticed on auction day.
