Before the auction The Catalogue For each sale, the Auction House prepares a catalogue (catalogue subscription) containing photographs of the works to be auctioned, accompanied by a technical data sheet that further illustrates the lot. A minimum and a maximum estimate based on average market prices, adjudications in other relevant auctions, lot quality, rarity, state of preservation and other criteria are also indicated. Delivery of the works Upon delivery of the works, a mandate to sell will be drawn up, containing the description of the lots delivered, the minimum price (reserve price) at which the item may be awarded, and the commission in favour of the Auction House. Only for lots awarded, the Auction House shall retain a commission* inclusive of VAT and all expenses incurred (photography, cataloguing, printing, advertising, etc.). For each auction, Galleria Pananti publishes its online catalogue approximately 40 days in advance of the first auction session. However, in the 20 days prior to the auction itself, if desired, it is possible to receive the printed catalogue, which reproduces the lots that will be auctioned, accompanied by a photograph, description of the lot and estimate. The Pananti Auction House is responsible for selling, in premises open to the public, the objects entrusted in the name and on behalf of the principals, as per deeds registered at the VAT Office of Florence. It cannot be charged with obligations other than those deriving from the mandate.
