In this episode, we take a closer look at what happens at the end of an auction, thanks to the testimony of Florentine gallerist Santo Ficara. Through the gallerist's narration, we learn that after the end of the auction follows the phase in which the auction house turns its attention to acquiring new works of art to put up for sale. This search and acquisition process can take time and effort, but it is critical to the continuity of the auction business and to meeting the demand of potential buyers.
