A hunting flintlock carbine, Inghilterra, 1800 ca. - England, circa 1800

Two-stage blued barrel in 12mm calibre marked "R. FENTON - LONDON" at the breech, platinum filleting and vent, engraved and signed lock fitted with anti-friction pan, steel mounts are magisterially engraved, walnut stock fitted with finely chequered patch-box. The weapon is preserved in its original mahogany case with brass handle (Dim. cm. 88,5x25) lined in green fabric with the producer’s label and it contains the following accessories: powder flask, cleaning ramrods, cartridge holder belt, leather case containing cartridges and flintlocks, leather flask, brushes and wadding. The barrel is conserved with its brass plug. A rare firearm in excellent condition, signs of use.
