A sword, Kingdom of the Two Sicilies or France, circa 1830

Known as the "Garde debartaille", blade with fuller on back-edge, fitted with yelman at tip, bronze gilt hilt, knuckle guard with chased shell missing its fleur-de-lys in the central part, short cap, chased with foliage and trophies, iron scabbard with cruciform bands. In very good condition, in patina, minor defects.
