The great painting of ;Judith in the act of showing the people of Bethulia the severed head of Holofernes it was commissioned from Aldi by the Ladies of the Sacred Heart of Trinità dei Monti as a gift to Pope Leo XIII on the occasion of his priestly jubilee and is still kept in the Vatican Museums.
