private purchase model for Officers, used in the Italian / Turkish War of 1911/12: in cork covered with brown canvas on the outside and green on the inside, alluding to leather and metal dome covered in fabric; door applied by sewing bel frieze mod. 1909 for Officer, hand embroidered in silver gilt on a gray-green cloth background. In good condition, despite the signs of long and intense field use.
