Monterosa Division paperweight

belonged to the famous mountain division of the R.S.I .: in self-sufficient material such as cellulose wood mixed with glue, depicts Alpine in the typical estate of the period guarding the border; at the top right was originally glued a gladius as an insignia, of which the imprint remains distinctly; in fair condition, the artifact appears to have been recovered from excavations.
