Plate for sabretache as an Officer of the French Hussars

from the II Empire period, depicting a crowned eagle resting on Zeus' lightning bolts; cast in bronze, carefully picked up with chisel down to the smallest details and finished with beautiful mercury gilding, in an excellent percentage preserved; on the reverse it has three fixing rings; measures 12.5X17.5 cm; fixed for display purposes to an old panel covered with green velvet; in excellent condition
