19th century Calabrian hunting knife with flat edges and points, engraved with figures of a brigand and his beloved accompanied by allegorical images of pierced hearts, racemes etc .; the ornament, of naive but tasty popular flavor, is a classic of the so-called "love" typologies, gifts that women traditionally gave to her betrothed; the handle is in horn, with brass rings and rims; absent scabbard; in good condition with vintage patina.
