Small and elegant cannon
cast in bronze, datable to the 18th / 19th century, it reproduces in the style an artillery of the 16th / 17th century: the long joy of the mouth, sculpted with an expressive dragon's head, is followed by eight sections delineated by ribs and bearing - save the central supporting the earlobes - various heraldic figures in bas-relief; the muzzle ends with a poded breech and a baluster-shaped maneuvering grip; in beautiful old patina never revealed by cleaning and in excellent condition
