for Officer of Line Cavalry, attributable to Germanic circle of the early 19th century: straight blade with one edge and point with shells on both sides, punched on the heel "R, Knech" and "Solingen"; iron guard, enveloping in shape, with four branches and peltas shaped like palmettes, full cap and ferrule also in iron; wooden handle with leather sleeve and metal braid; sheath absent; in excellent condition L 101.5 cm
