gray-green painted, on the outside it has a second layer of color with a grainy appearance and traces of a possible camouflage shaded in ocher; visible on the forehead and in correspondence of the right temple are the regulatory decals friezes; inside a leather cap and a gray-green leather wedge; the helmet has unmistakable traces of a long stay in the elements abandoned in open ground or in an extremely humid place, still solid and with a very pleasant appearance from "battlefield archeology";
