datable to the 19th century, of Turkish origin or from areas of Ottoman influence: accentuated curved blade with flat faces, on the right the manufacturer's brand in gold; guard and frame of the handle niellated in silver with "koftgari" style workmanship with motifs of racemes, arabesques and medallions bearing inscriptions in Arabic characters; cheeks made of polished bone tesserae arranged in mosaic; absent scabbard; in good condition.
