Diorama of the funeral of General Cantore

contained in a wooden box with a hinged lid that opened, shows a funeral scene in the background of the altar: next to the coffin there are figures of two Alpini and two sailors in colonial uniform, symbolizing our African campaigns where Cantore had distinguished himself. the toy soldiers are in lead, the remaining accessories in wood, the whole carefully hand painted; in excellent condition Measures 20 x 18 x 15 cm Antonio Cantore was the first Italian General to fall during the Great War, in Cortina on 22 July 1915
