Two Italian letter openers from the Great War

typical examples of the so-called "Art of the Trench": the first in iron, taken from working in the forge of grenade splinter, the blade engraved and placed in yellow metal with scrolls and legend "1918 Ricordo"; another in copper, obtained from forcing crowns of artillery shells, the blade engraved on both sides with the inscriptions "Remembrance of War 1918" and "Montello Quota 279"; in good condition with fair patina
