Lot of two "fleschettes"

drop armor-piercing shells, made of iron, used at the beginning of the Great War to hit enemy infantry from airplanes: these devices were expected to be thrown by hand by pilots on concentrations of enemy troops; they actually knew some precocious use, useful to show their total ineffectiveness and were soon abandoned; in good condition with period patina; measures respectively 12.5 and 12 cm
