Flissa knife

typical knife of the Berber populations of Algeria: thin but sturdy single-edged blade and point, adorned with simple abstract engravings, brass handle with stylized zoomorphic cap, wooden sheath decorated with geometric carvings and sheet metal bands, bears the ancient reverse handwritten ink inscription "JD 1897"; in good condition L 39 cm
