Particular Italian saber Mod. 1864

Regulatory model for Cavalry Officers: sharply curved blade, single-edged and pointed with shells on both sides, engraved with trophy motifs and signed by the manufacturer Wester of Solingen; of archaic typology, unusual on this model which generally used a unified blade 1855 style and probably taken from an 1834 type saber; iron hilt, also with archaic elements such as the cap with a rounded back and the riveted tang without the possibility of disassembly; ebony handle, with seven sectors finished in checkering; iron sheath with two bells; in excellent condition with beautiful old patina never "revealed" by cleaning; Interesting L 100 cm
