typology favored by the Parisian street crime around 1900: single-edged blade and tip with false cut, the heel bearing a single locking latch; iron grip with mother-of-pearl cheeks, nickel silver tips with thumb rest and firm with short S-shaped guard; sturdy retaining spring embedded in the back; signs of use and minor damage due to time, in any case in good condition.
