Rare experimental helmet for Musketeer of the Duce

experimental model, pre-series & nbsp; of the final version, obviously produced by the same and only authorized manufacturer, "S.V. Presciutti / Via Leccosa 4 / Rome"; also in black felt but not yet thickly lacquered on the outside as in the definitive version, it is internally equipped with a conventional 1933 model cap, but in black leather and bearing the aforementioned manufacturer's stamp embossed in gold; even the rim is still the standard model 1933, in black painted aluminum with orange felt coating; the wimple is missing, it can be assumed that it was still that of '33 colored in black; on the front the headgear bears a skull with crossbones printed in white metal with painted eye sockets, a variant of the classic Johnson model subsequently used; the helmet appears little or no worn but has a thick patina and small injuries due to careless storage in an inappropriate place, such as a cellar or similar, in any case in good general condition; very interesting
