datable to about 1920, belonged to a Garibaldi veteran of the Great War, formerly a volunteer in France and later recalled to Italy for the 1915-18 campaign: in scarlet fabric with green profiles and golden "demi boule" buttons, he wears the ribbons of Italian decorations granted to combatants; in good condition with normal patina of use
