Emotion: PASSION
Painting for me is like therapy, like meditation, a practice of patience and something that relaxes me, these pieces represent for me a light at the end of the tunnel. After many years of working in a very demanding career and being a mother of two children, where I never had time for my passions, when the pandemic hit us, I lost all of my work and it was during the lockdown that I started painting again. It is difficult for me to choose just one emotion when I think of this collection. The pandemic and its constraints have given me an energy that has renewed my long-abandoned passion and that has led me to return to painting after 25 years. In the depressing darkness of that period, where I could not see a professional future, a light turned on in me and it was like a very pleasant therapy that lifted my spirits but I never imagined that it would become a job that gives me a lot of joy and gratification! Painting for myself and for others, makes me very happy!
