AFRICAN ART
The Carlo Caraccioli Collection Passionate about art and pupil of Alessandri, he dealt with the artistic disciplines as a painter, engraver and sculptor from an early age. Having discovered non-European art, he was fascinated by oriental and African art, becoming a refined and expert collector. CRT manager was one of the organizers of the international exhibition of African art curated by Ezio Bassani held in Turin in 2003. Between the 1980s and 2015, through his travels and constant research on the international antiques market, he created a beautiful and refined collection of African art now on sale in this auction.
