Assault dagger

supplied by the Italian Army in the distant Fifties but very little distributed and used, it was made in Terni by reusing components of various origins: single-edged blade and point, iron guard and cap, wooden cheeks held by through screws; olive green varnished leather sheath with American M3 cap but equipped with a compass loop for the belt, like the old M38 dagger of the Royal Army, metal ferrule already used on the 1891 bayonet scabbard; in good condition
