Extraordinary horseman knob

protection of the left forearm, part, together with the torso and the helmet, of the now reduced armor of a cavalryman of the late 17th century: heavy mannequin, whose protrusion, touches to pretend to be twisted, reaches exactly to protect the elbow while keeping the arm semiflex as to tighten a rein; back of five blades; iron rivets, riveted on the upper edge and the blades to hold sheet metal rings which retain leather leftovers of a pre-existing farce and glove that have been lost; visible a manufacturer's punch impressed in the apical area, to be interpreted; thoroughly cleaned, in good condition; datable to the 17th / early 18th century, of central European origin.
