defensive headdress for cavalarmato, probably of Northern European origin, datable to the middle ca. from the 17th century; tile in one piece, strengthened by six ribs and completed by a ring at the top; eaves of four blades, riveted at the edges; riveted visor, equipped with bridge with adjustable wing nut, keeping the long sliding nose piece, the tip of which bears the "M" brand of arsenal; whole earlobes, riveted to the edge, bearing rosettes of six plus a hole in the center; in very good condition with nice dark patina
