Rare Jenks system nipple pistol
datable to the 1930s of the 19th century, the weapon is one of the first creations of the American gunsmith William Jenks, who later met with some success by supplying the Navy with a breech-loading rifle with separate trigger, always equipped with the typical hammer battery horizontal; barrel with rifled bore, octagonal section, with lateral nipple, signed "Wm JENKS" on the combustion chamber; classic Jenks patent drums, soberly engraved in racemes; walnut case with brass fittings, also engraved in scrolls; iron ramrod with brass ball beater; in excellent mechanical and aesthetic condition; very interesting
