Horse helmet

of Germanic context, datable to the early 17th century; tile with a hint of a crest, made by beating from a single slab; hinged beard and visor, the latter characterized by rather wide eye slits and two distinct aerators, with a rosette of six plus a hole on the right for the observer and a Latin cross with ten openings on the opposite side; neck guard of two blades for each section, the lower ones with turned edges and touches to pretend to be twisted; there are brass rivets, a good percentage of which are, in our opinion, to be considered of old well-executed reinstatement, as well as the barb and fan hook fasteners; the helmet has a protective red paint inside, the result of an ancient restoration; & nbsp; externally the helmet appears in a beautiful patina, with small superficial peeling of the metal & nbsp; visible in several places & nbsp;
