Two revolvers in an elegant case

refined box for pistols, of noble origin, designed for the needs of a shooter, it can be dated to around 1870; of transalpine taste, in wood covered with morocco on the outside, with an argentana plaque on the lid bearing the initials engraved "G F"; internally lined in light blue silk and velvet, with compartments for weapons and accessories shaped in the French manner, it contains two rotating pistols: the first is a large-caliber pin pistol, with fixed drum and hinged side loading door, single and double action action, polished bone scales; of refined Belgian workmanship, it bears the hallmark of the Proof of Liège of the period; the other, smaller in size and caliber, is a hinged-frame centerfire revolver with simultaneous ejection  of the shells, single and double action mechanics, ebonized wood scales; also of Belgian manufacture, bearing the signature "Gme Ledent/Bté" on the barrel; in the box, complete with lock with its  key, both the screwdriver and the original cleaning rod are also kept in their special compartments; the ensemble, undoubtedly unusual and rare,

is in overall very good condition with honest vintage patina
